Renal and Metabolic Division
The Renal and Metabolic Division is under the Department of Allied Medical Specialties, originally created as a support unit for patients with heart disease needing hemodialysis, Continious Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and othe services related to the treatment of kidney disease.
The Division’s Hemodialysis Unit is located at the 3rd floor, Annex Building of the Philippine Heart Center. It has eighteen (18) New dialysis machines with the latest Water Treatment Systems, and seven (7) Automated Reprocessing Machines for dialyzer reuse. It likewise has seven (7) mobile hemodialysis machines paired with seven (7) portable reverse osmosis machines for In-patient hemodialysis procedures, as well as two (2) Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) machines for patients in Intensive Care Units.

Requirements for OPD Regular Hemodialysis (1st session)
  • Clinical Abstract and Hemodialysis Prescription from a PHC-affiliated Attending Nephrologist
  • Hepatitis Profile (within 6 months)
  • COVID-19 Antigen Test (valid within 7days)
  • Vaccination Card (Covid-19)
  • Latest Laboratory Results (within 1 month)
  • Dialysis Data Sheet (Last 3 Sessions) from previous dialysis center (if applicable)
  • List of Medicines
PhilHealth Requirements
  • Member Data Record (MDR)
  • Claim Signature Form (CSF) with Nephrologist / Doctor’s signature
  • Latest PhilHealth Consumption Certificate
  • PhilHealth Dialysis Database (PDD) from previous HD Center
Requirements for Discount
    PWD or SENIOR CITIZEN ID, Certification, if applicable

        - May avail Financial Assistance through GL, HMO PCSO, DSWD

    Mondays to Saturdays (for OPD)

        First Shift: 6:00AM-11:00AM

        Second Shift: 11:00AM-4:00PM
