Academic Year 2022
I. SUBSPECIALTY FELLOWSHIPS
One (1) Year Subspecialty Fellowship Training Program in Non-Invasive Diagnostic Cardiology, Invasive Cardiology, Peripheral Vascular, Critical Care Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Bronchoscopy / Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.
Qualifications:
  • Has completed Residency Training in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Adult Cardiology in PCP and PCC accredited institutions for Subspecialty Fellowships in Adult Cardiology, PCP and PCCP accredited institutions for Subspecialty Fellowships in Adult Pulmonary Medicine, and PPS and PAPP accredited institutions for Subspecialty Fellowships in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine.
  • PCP Diplomate
  • A Research Proposal which must be submitted and approved by the DETR. Applicants with Proposal that are not approved by DETR will not be processed.

    • Deadline for submission of application is on February 21, 2022
    • Academic Year 2022 starts on April 1, 2022
II. FELLOWSHIPS
A. ADULT CARDIOLOGY
Qualifications:
  • Certificate of Residency Training in Internal Medicine accredited by PCP
  • PCP Diplomate

    • Deadline for submission of application is on February 21, 2022
    • Academic Year 2022 starts on April 1, 2022
B. ADULT PULMONARY MEDICINE
Qualifications:
  • PCP Diplomate

    • Deadline for submission of application is on February 21, 2022
    • Academic Year 2022 starts on April 1, 2022
C. PEDIATRIC PULMONOLOGY MEDICINE
Qualifications:
  • Certificate of Residency in General Pediatric Society accredited institution
  • Have passed the written examination for PPS Diplomate written examination at time of application

    • Deadline for submission of application is on February 21, 2022
    • Academic Year 2022 starts on April 1, 2022
D. CV RADIOLOGICAL SCIENCES
One (1) Year Fellowship Program
Qualifications:
  • Has completed Residency Training in any Philippine College of Radiology accredited institution.
  • Passed the Part I and Part II of the qualifying examination given by the Philippine Board of Radiology.
  • A Research Proposal which must be submitted and approved by the DETR. Applicants with proposal that are not approved by DETR will not be processed.

    • Deadline for submission of application is on February 21, 2022
    • Academic Year 2022 starts on April 1, 2022
E. PEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGY
Qualifications:
  • 3 years Residency in General Pediatrics accredited by PPS
  • At least passed written examination for Diplomate in Pediatrics

    • Deadline for submission of application is on September 30, 2021
    • Academic Year 2022 starts on January 3, 2022
F. THORACIC CARDIOVASCULAR SURGERY
Qualifications:
  • 5 years Residency in General Surgery accredited by PCS (Board Eligible)

    • Deadline for submission of application is on January 10, 2022
    • Academic Year 2022 starts on April 1, 2022
G. CARDIOVASCULAR ANESTHESIA
Qualifications:
  • 3 years Residency in General Anesthesia accredited by Philippine Board of Anesthesiology (Board Eligible)
  • Passed the written examination given by Philippine Board of Anesthesiology

    • Deadline for submission of application is on February 21, 2022
    • Academic Year 2022 starts on April 2, 2022
H. NUCLEAR MEDICINE
Qualifications:
    1-year Fellowship Training Program
  • Graduate of Nuclear Medicine Program of PHC

  • 2-year Fellowship Training Program
  • Graduate of any accredited Residency Training Program in:
    • 1. Internal Medicine
      2. Radiology
      3. Nuclear Medcine (Non-PHC graduate)

    • Deadline for submission of application is on February 21, 2022
    • Academic Year 2022 starts on April 1, 2022

C. LABORATORY MEDICINE
General Requirements:
  1. Medical Diploma and PRC Diploma (Certified True Copy)
  2. Transcript of Records (Certified True Copy)
  3. General Weighted Average (Certified True Copy)
  4. Itemized Board Rating (Certified True Copy)
  5. Three (3) Letters of Recommendation with at least one (1) letter written by the Training Officer and/or Director of the previous Training Programs (for Fellowship Applicants) and Dean of school or former medical professors (for Residency Applicants). Duplicate letters or photocopies will not be accepted and will invalidate application.
  6. Five (5) pcs. 2" x 2" colored picture
  7. Certificate of Residency (For Fellowship and Subspecialty applicant - Certified True Copy)
  8. Certificate of Deployment of Physicians Graduating from Residency Training Program
  9. Specialty Board Certificate (Certified True Copy)
  10. PRC ID (Photocopy, back-to-back)
  11. Psychological test to be done at PHC-HRD (Human Resource Division)
Incomplete requirement will invalidate application
